| | You lost 3 lbs the first DAY? WOW.

As long as she doesn't recommend everyone get their lower 2 ribs
removed like she did so she could change the shape of her body ;-)

    Sounds great

| | I thought that was Jane Fonda who got the rib removed. What ever.
Thats rather drastic if you as me.

    be bloody stupid after all.

| | Well, I'm doing very well on this program. So far I've lost 6 pounds,
and next week will be the 1 month mark. I hope to have a bit more off
by then. 2-3 pounds is about the average amount you should lose per
week, and for the most part I'm keeping up with that. I have a
compulsive eating problem thats pretty much under control, but its nice
to know that if I go off the program a bit its not going to be
disastrous. I'm still on the schedule that I've set for myself. I've
always thought 2-3 pounds a week was too slow, but it seems to be just
right for me. By X-Mas I should be at my goal weight, and its just
slow enough to not scare me. I don't know why I get scared when I
start to lose too much weight all at once, but I do get that way
never-the-less. The slower/safer way seems to be working. And of
course I'm walking 1-2 miles a day. When I stop doing that, I start
maintaining the weight instead of losing.

    Gotta go,

| | RE: Cher's rib.
That's not true....crazy how rumors get started....
I don't think there's an operation to have a rib removed!!!
I saw an interview with Cher a while back and said denied the
rib operation too. I'd believe Cher before I believe and
tabolid.

| | I hope I don't take a ribbing for changing the subject, but...
This morning I found a mail in rebate coupon for $5 on "Cher's NEW fitness
video, CherFitness (tm)" in the bottom of a box of Equal. TO get the $5, you
need the proof of purchase seal and the cash register tape.
If anyone wants this coupon, send e-mail to RANGER::PESENTI.
Don't reply here, though.

Removing a rib (from each side!) is not minor surgery, by the way.

| | What was the reason for her removing a rib? I can't imagine what kind
of quack doctor would do that just for a better figure....this a very
    dangerous operation.
