I have started the T-Factor (Low Fat) diet. In reviewing the older
notes in here, I have not found many low(no)-fat recipes. I have
created a few of my own, but I am sure there are a lot of you out there
who have created your own and wouldn't mind sharing, I hope!
There are recipes in the T-factor book, but from past experience, word
of mouth recipes are much better!
Can you Help?
Jackie ;-)

I believe you are speaking about the Dave Maynard Diet. The diet and
the soup recipes are in Note #47.*

No, I checked it out. That isn't it. It is keeping your grams of fat
down to around 20-25 per day.
But thanks anyway!

| 638.4 | hot weiners | HDLITE::ZARLENGA | Michael Zarlenga, MRO AXP BPDA | Mon Sep 20 1993 01:31 | 20 |
I happened to drive by the New York System Hot Weiner place today and
got a hankering for the good old lead sinkers they sell.
Instead, I stopped by the market and grabbed what I needed to make my
own version. Not quite as tasty, but not nearly as greasy ...
The only trick is making the meat sauce. Aside from that, I used low-
fat hot dog buns and Healthy Choice hot dogs.
The meat sauce ...
I fried 1/2 lb of 10% fat hamburg in a frying pan, drained it, then
rinsed it under hot water. At that point, it's almost fat-free. I
added about 1/2 cup water, some Healthy Choice BBQ sauce, and some
salt and pepper.
I simmered the meat uncovered until the water had evaporated, then
added some celery salt.
It was pretty good. It could use some fine tuning, though ...
