there are a whole bunch of us here who will gladly show support.
I've lost 110+lbs in the last 8 months (thats 50 kg) and am by no means
    the biggest loser here.

    Have fun,

    Andy

| | Karl, you can probably count on most of us to help you out! Sometimes
all it takes is a freindly pat on the back when you need it. We're all
in this together.
I think you'll enjoy the WW program, I really do. Even when I don't follow
it to the letter I notice that I have made great changes in my overall
eating patterns. I dont' eat as much as often as I used to.
We're here for you!
Happy new year and happy new you!
Liz

| | Hello again!

Now I am the 10th day on the WW Program and have lost 5 lbs. Now
I am adding once a week a "ONE HOUR SQASH PARTY" with friends.
Last week (the first three days of it) were very hard for me, but
now I feel great. I think I will reach my goal......

.5> Now I am the 10th day on the WW Program and have lost 5 lbs. Now
The cravings for fatty foods will probably disappear sometime
before your 3rd week on the diet, if you are abe to not cheat until
    then.

| 542.10 | is that normal? | VNABRW::KAMIR |  | Tue Feb 13 1990 06:30 | 10 |
| | .....up to now 12 lbs minus, but it seems to me that it is slowing
    down....

is that normal? I have not changed the diet nor my habit to sqash
    once a week.

| | On most diets, you tend to loose fast at first, but then things slow
down to a more normal pace. I laugh at any diet program that advertises
    a "quick lose plan".

I suggest that you stick to your regiment and you will soon see the
pounds melt away. Dieting re-enforces the cliche "Good things come to
    those who wait".

Keep in mind... You didn't gain the weight overnight, so don't expect
to loose if that fast either.

    Good luck!!
