| | Hi Vicki,

I've never heard of the newsletter "Lose Weight Naturally". Could
you tell us a little about it? (price, address, average # of pages,
    etc.)

I'm looking for some new health magazines/material to subscribe
    to.

    Thanks,

    - Molly -

Did they by any chance give you the fat percentage? I
certainly wouldn't call that fish dinner "low-fat foods". With
sour cream, salad dressing, a pat of butter, ice cream and cream
for coffee, it would seem to me like that dinner would have more
fat than the steak. (Of course, it also depends on the cut of
steak.) Just because something is lower in calories doesn't
necessarily mean that it's better for you. Now if you cut out
those fats I mentioned above, there's a good "volume" dinner!

Lose Weight Naturally is published monthly by Rodale Press, 33 E. Minor
St., Emmaus, PA 18098 (215-967-5171). Subscription rates in US -
    $21.00 yearly.

This is an 8-10 page newsletter that gives you up-to-date facts on
health/diet/fitness - future products, success stories, receipes and
advice. It's something quick to read and has great tid-bits. They
just started to ad a "personals page" that I really don't care for but
    others might.

I did sign up for the Weight Watchers Woman's newsletter and didn't
like it at all -- it's more medical than diet/fitness related. Of
course, now that I tried them, every health newsletter in the country
is trying to see a subscription to me, i.e. Tufts, Mahey Clinic...for
    now this one is fine!

    Hopes this helps...

| | Vicki,

I know just what you mean, I also subscribe to the L.W.N. and everyone
and his brother wants me to get their newsletter. I also didn't like
the W.W. newsletter. The only thing that differs between us is that I
wrote to a few people in the personals and have now made some real nice
friends who understand my problems. It's sort of like this notes file.
