| | A 1.75 oz (avg) glazed raised doughnut weighs in at around 220
calories. The sticky-wet comes from the sugar glaze, which has
a consistency that never dries completely.

And, I'd guess fat is responsible for about 50% of the calories
    and sugars for about 25%.

| | I have given up eating donuts for the last 4 years because I read
an article in the _Readers Digest_ way back then about how a donut
stays in you system for 3-4 weeks. That was enough for me to give
    them up!

| | I hate the smell of donuts and the after taste and the big lump
in your stomach. I had the *pleasure* of having *free* donuts
until the facility cafeteria opened. (this was a new building)
Well after 1 week of freebies I became a donut hater!! Just the
smell turns me off. YUCK!!!!! Pass them up they are so GROSS.
Sorry I sound like a nut, I am.

| | Patti, I am so glad I was not the only one that got hurt by the
insensativity of .5, it must be great to sit in judgement on what
other people eat, it only reconfirms the feelings that overweight
people have towards themselves. LOW SELF ESTEEM. Thanks to calus
remarks such as Karens, we can continue to feel like we are not
    worth much.

| | Sorry Karen, I got the names mixed up. The person with the not
so nice attitude toward grossly obese people is Patti, not Karen.
