I just got through talking to a Distributor who tells me that his
product has the FDA Approval, patent number, etc. It is Accupatch
put out by Vital Life whose home base is in Los Vegas, Nevada.

Yeah, I was told by 2 distributors as well as seeing ads that
their patch was approved but the FDA told me no. That their were NO
approved patches. According to the person at the FDA, there is a dif-
ference with following rules and regulations put out by the FDA and
being FDA approved. That complicates matters abit.
It's not so much the solution but the patch for the transdermal
mechanism used to get the product to into the patient. I'll bring in
the quote (if I remember) but it looks like the FDA wants to make
transdermal patches strictly controlled - no over the counter.
This will take some time to withdraw products and until then manufacturers
and distributors are allowed to sell them.
If you ask me my personal opinion, they are making alot to do about
seeminly nothing. all the patch is, is a band-aid. In fact, I've
been w/o the patches that come w/ the kit and have used "BAND-AIDS"
(the brand). I'm still using mine & they are still working.

| I got my patches yesterday, I am a w.w. member but have been having
problems getting back on program. So far so good with the patch.
I am following my diet and am not looking for the usual snacks.
Dermatrim is the name of the product I am using, I read the phamplet
from begining to end. It did say FDA approved. Interesting !

More than likely, the supressant is FDA approved. However,
when it is combined with a vehicle to penetrate the skin, the FDA
considers that to be a different drug. So, even though the
active chemical is FDA approved for general over-the-counter use,
the patch may not be.

| Jayna are you still using the patch ? I find that I do get hungry
but, I only eat when hungry, I do not have the tremendous appite
I have always had. It seems to control appitite more so than hunger,
which is great.

been the results? Any known dangers? Cost per unit, say
a months supply?

| I brought the brochure in for the Dermapatch and what it says is:
