|  |     Perhaps the origin is in evolution and natural selection:  In the
    cave-man/woman days, the people who liked and ate  spinach did not
    survive.  The people who liked the high-calorie food stored up
    a lot of fat in their bodies and survived the famine times.

|  |     I've asked that question a hundred times.  If girl scout cookies,
    cheese cake, and chocolate ice cream were all low in calories, I
    wouldn't have to worry about gaining weight!!!
