Got to Reading Station last night at 17:45 and they had a problem - a tree had blown down and was blocking the line between Reading and Newbury. They merely displayed trains as 'delayed'. Fortunately the Reading - Basingstoke route was unaffected and I was able to get home okay. Hopefully is was quickly resolved. Roger | |||||
