Is there a problem if install two server based license paks on one
Pathworks license server. I have a customer who has two PWLMOSFCU05.00
license paks of 10 each. When a NT client connects to the server it
consumes one from each pak and when both paks show that 10 licenses are
consumed it stops allowing connections.
I know we can add multiple client license paks but are multiple server
paks supported.
Tks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry -
Multiple license paks are handled by lmf more than by PATHWORKS. I
assume that the license paks (PWLMOSFCU05.00) are both the same. When
you do a:
> lmf list | grep PWLMOSF
does it show 10 licenses, or 20? I think lmf combines multiple paks.
In that case, we only see the end result. We don't allocate from one
server license pak or another.
Do DOS clients only consume one license, or 2?
