    The only two 'performance' things in the product are:
    
    (1) Setting a few file-cache size parameters:
    
    	(See note 301 as an example)
    
    
    (2) Installing/configuring OpenVMS's XQP+ option
    
    	(As I recall, the PATHWORKS documentation mentions this one.)
    
    
    The server-logfile displays state of these settings during startup.

    I've been away for a time and i just began to look at this problem.
    
    I've read 301 but the logicals used are not mentioned in any
    documentation. 
    Is it really 301 ?

    	No, they aren't formally documented in the documentation.  (The
    reason for that presumably was because they weren't considered to
    have been sufficiently qualified/tested.)  That's why they are only
    mentioned here in the notes file.
