I think you should try not to be alone on Fathers Day.

Spend it with significant others, good friends but not alone!

When I've gone through difficult times I know this works for me.

                                          good luck,
                                                        Bill

| | BR,

I lost my father back in 1976. I was 20 at the time. It was hard then
but I found out you will never forget him. I still think of him and get
sad around the holidays. a couple of regrets are he never met my wife
or seen his grandson. My wife suprised me one fathers day by having a
3X5 picture taken of him blown up. It is hanging in my living room with
the rest of the family pictures. Once in awhile my son will become sad
and say he misses his grandpop. Even though he never met him that
picture does help in letting my son know what my father looked like.

The above doesn't answer your question but it might help to let you
know you will always remember him.

                 Tom Z.

| | I just went through this on Mother's Day, it was the first one
since my Mom died in July, it was tough, I did stay out of the
    Malls, card shops etc..

I made sure I spent quite time, to remember her, I dealt with it.

| | I guess I would go visit him at grave site. I lost a neice last
November. It was cruel. I went and read a childrens book, 'Night Before
Christmas", and left her a candy cane on her grave. Thats about all you
can do. Just go give them respect, and enjoy the good things of life
    you have.
