    Angela,
your not crazy, your in love. I spent a week away from
my wife while on a business trip. I felt only half of me was
there. The separation is good for your relationship. My wife and
I make a separate religious retreat every year. We find the separation
helps us to appreciate our relationship more.
    Peace
    Jim

| | No, Angela, you're not crazy. I know just how you feel. The first
time I ever felt that way, my boyfriend had only gone away for a
long weekend. Since I'm a very independent person, I thought I would
enjoy that time, and I was very surprised at how much I missed him.
I think it's just part of being in a long-term relationship. The
next time you're separated probably will be easier because you will
be expecting to miss him a lot. You might plan on being very nice
to yourself the next time he is going to be away.

| | I don't think you're crazy - just normal and in love.

In a past job, I traveled on business quite a bit, and when
I returned home, there was a certain spark - the separation was
a positive in terms of the relationship.

This separation definitely had a positive effect on our relationship..
he just got home and we are closer... i think we both realized just how
much we really needed each other, and as much as it hurt, it helped
greatly... things had been a bit shaky before, but now they are
    stronger than ever!!
