| | I despise pantyhose. They are uncomfortable, they get runs, they
have to be washed carefully, and they are expensive - BUT they are
sexy. I wear skirts and dresses *very* seldom, so I don't mind donning
'hose on occasion. I like wearing lycra tights and a leotard when
I work out - lycra tights could probably survive a nuclear war they
    are so tough.

Yes, I have bought garter belts. Yes, they are a nice alternative,
although they do take longer to put on than panty hose. They don't
make a wide enough variety of sizes of thigh-high stockings to fit
everyone, though, and that was a problem in the past. And it's
really great to see the expression on your man's face when he realizes
that you're wearing stockings-&-garter-belt rather than panty hose.

Another thing I hate about skirts and dresses, and thus panty hose
indirectly, as that they almost always require high heels to complement
the fashionable look. And I *despise* heels, although they do have
their uses (they are sexy, too).
Gimme a decent pair of jeans and sneakers/boots any day.

    -Jody

RE: .2 I'd rather see a girl in jeans and boots then in a dress
any day. I guess it's the country boy in me.

| | If "alternative underclothing" means stockings but not
pantyhose, well, I wear thigh-hi stockings (they come in 5 or
6 sizes from the Sears catalog, of all places!) because
noone makes panty-hose in a comfortable size for me. (This
is the variety that stays up without a garter belt.) However,
any "interesting" undergarment loses its exotic appeal when
    you wear it everyday.
If you're talking about the sort of not-to-be-worn-everyday
goodies that one sees in the Frederick's catalog...well, yes,
I enjoy wearing them (every now and then I get a real kick
out of wearing something "wicked" under boring old dress
clothes to work) and my SO enjoys me wearing them. Most of
these things, however, are not comfortable enough for me to
want to wear often, and so they don't lose their erotic
appeal. And they usually don't stay on long enough to get
    uncomfortable. ;)
For comfort, I agree with previous replies: jeans, t-shirt
or flannel shirt, sneakers or boots!

Ties evolved from the cloths of silk that a band of Croatian mercenaries
in the service of the French king wore to protect their necks
from sword cuts. The word "cravat" memorializes their service.

I doubt you'd find it easy to strangle a Croat...

stimulating, and my wife seems to enjoy wearing them.
