6014.0. "Question about using Windows NT 4.0 Server Tools " by CHOWDA::GLICKMAN (writing from Newport,RI) Fri May 16 1997 12:32
We put the Windows NT 4.0 Server Tools on a Windows95 machine and
a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
If we try to do User Manager for Domains on the Windows95 machine to
change a password for example we get prompted with this message:
Administrative Password Verification
The operation you have initiated requires
an administrative password for the server listed
below. Please enter that password now.
The account we are logged in from has administrative privileges on that
server. We have also tried to use the password from the Administrator
account.
Any other ideas -- we are coming from a different domain. The account
we are logged into has the same password in both domains.
Anyone seen this before? Or have any ideas as to what is going on?
Thanks.
