HELLO,
Can I map a drive to remote unix directory from NT server.
I am in a situation where I need to run 'bcp' command on flat files sitting
on unix server. I can run 'bcp' (sql server bulk copy command)
if I could map a drive to the unix directory.
Thanks
krish.

Two choices.. NFS for NT or a lanman server for Unix. There are plenty of notes in here. I suggest you search with Altavista Notes. http://altavista.notes.lkg.dec.com:8000/ For a lanman server for unix, you have your choice of Pathworks or SAMBA. mike | |||||
