Has anyone heard of any specific problems with NT 4.0 Service Pack 1
running on a Micron DETIXEL/1000 and a Sony Tape drive? The customer
says that sometimes when they reboot, the tape drive is not recognized
by NT Backup. The Sony Tape drive is a SDT-5000 which looks like it
uses the 4mmdat.sys driver.
Thanks
Ed

Yes, the SDT-500 is supported by the 4mmdat.sys driver in windows NT 4.0 . I have not heard of any startup problems. Steve P. | |||||
