I am looking for information on using a component of Windows NT 4.0 that I beleive is called Multilink. It allows you to 'bond' multiple modem connections into one virtual connection to enhance transfer speeds. I have played around with it, I have two modems working just fine independently, but can't get them to work toghether. Does anyone have a pointer to info on using/configuring this functionality! I can't seem to find any documentation anywhere. Thanks, Rodney

The high points:
Both client and server must have multilink enabled. If the server is
set to do callback and the number is not an isdn number, you'll only
get one line.
To enable multilink on a RAS client: Select entry in dial-up
networking. Edit the entry. In the Basic tab, dial using box, select
multiple lines. Click configure to select lines, click Ok.
To enable multilink on a RAS server:
ControlPanel/Network/Services, select Remote Access Services, Network
Services, Properties. In the Remote Access Setup dialog box select
Network. In the Network Configuration dialog box select Enable
Multilink. Click OK.
Also, (not sure about this one) either install sp2 OR enable
LCP extensions for the dial-up entry.
Good Luck,

And if you're looking for ISPs that support analog multilink, you'll be
looking for quite a while. It's harder than finding USR X2 56K capable
ISPs. (For some reason, the concept of two modems being used for one user
doesn't turn them on. :-)
