    Hello
    saw all the different installation problems - 
    here is another one:

    back home from an "Administering NT V4.0" course, I tried to install on
    my Windows 95 Desktop PC the NT V4.0 Workstation alternative.
    
    according to the learned instructions I booted the PC in DOS-mode
    and started WINNT/B from the local CD-drive - for 2 seconds a message
    appeared on the screen saying something about type lock/? for further
    information - and the installation ended.
    
    after reboot I could browse from Explorer interface the CD, however 
    upon a second installation attempt from DOS-mode the error message was
    issued CDR1001 - no access to CD-drive.
