Hi I just went thru the Sales Update for RWZ53 (2.3/2.6 GB optical drive) and the optical libraries using this drive. It mentions Windows-NT 4.0 as one of the supporting OS. Can NTBACKUP use the RWZ53 drive ? Also what is the plan for supporting the optical libraries on windows-NT ? Thanks in advance. Ajit Kale

NT plans for the RWZ53/RW5xx do exist, but specifics must be obtained
from the product manager (Mike Bahlo, Shrewsbury ... unannounced
products, open notes files....)
Also, refer to the MSGAXP::OPTICAL notes file
I thought NT backup only used tape as a destination... If you can use a
hard disk as a backup destination, you can use an RWZ53. Otherwise, no.
