I have a question reguarding a PDP 1173 system which is in a BA23
enclousure. The customer is a Phone company and has the main power
supply that is an obselete item. A H7877 +48v input supply. If I
convert the supply over to a H7864-b +120v ac supply the outputs should
all be the same for the dc stuff right? The fan's and such are also off
the dc supply voltage so it should not need anything else to make it
work right?
Just checking before flame on with the other supply.

Just in case someone else ever runs into the same situation with this odd
ball 48v dc power supply you can convert it to the 120v ac input. Did
it this morning and it seems ok.
The h7877 supply had not been available since 1990 and must be made of
gold as the price (if we coulld have gotten it was $4.000+.
Just in case there are any people still working on PDP's.
