Does anyone know the reason for the loss of power for 3 hours on
Friday, Jan 12? I heard from a friend that the lights were out all
over Maynard as well as parts of Acton and Concord.
Just wondering...

A main transmission line failed and when the back was brought up on
line it failed also; parts of or all of 6 towns were affected(Waltham,

... I heard some radio traffic about an 'Edison crew working over
on Parker St. Spare a thought for the gang who were out IN that,
getting us back on line...
