While in Maynard last weekend I saw an interesting house on Summer St. half- way between Nason St. and the Fine Arts theater. It has an addition with a two-story glass wall facing the street and solar panels on the roof. There is a sign asking for volunteers to help with construction. Does anyone know more about this? Is there some kind of environmental organization involved?

I don't think it is a house in the residential sense. I believe it used to be a solar heating business. The lack of tax breaks killed most of those shops off about 8 years ago. - dave | |||||
