Some kids came to my door this weekend selling candy. My husband
didn't ask any questions and turned the kids away. Does anyone
know who the fund raiser is for and what exactly are they selling?

Carol,
The 6th graders of Fowler Middle School are raising money
for their annual trip to Camp Beckert. It's for Nature's Classroom.
They go in October of their 7th grade for one week. This trip
is quite expensive ($175.00/week) and they can put 1/2 of what they
sell to help defray the cost.
I guess in a sense it's what the Girl Scouts do, a portion of
the cookie goes toward the girls summer camp.
