hi:
we have an interesting situation I would hope someone has seen:
we are running NTv4.0 workstation with Service Pack 3 installed, and
Clientworks V2.2, client V2.3D.
when the workstation comes up (i.e. boots); the Service DMISL starts
up "normally"; but the workstation suddenly turns to Jello(r).
bringing up the perf mon shows that Parent DMISLSRV's thread 3
(instance 2) takes 100% of the CPU time allotted to the thread.
stopping and restarting the service (DMISL) brings the CPU util. for
the thread down to "reasonable" levels, i.e. 5-10%max.
is there a known bug? is there a patch? is there a Virginia Santa
Claus?
thanks for the help.

Known problem, check the techtips on www.windows.digital.com
service and support techtips.
Includes the new DMISL to replace the old one.
Probably on akin40.ako.dec.com as well.
