    He's not a very beleivable Jack Ryan -- I think it's bacause he doesn't
come across as "American" as HF - and Ford is much better for such
    roles.

Actually, I thought Alec Baldwin played a more believable Jack Ryan in
"Red October", for those who've read the books he seems to play the
character a lot closer to Clancy's original.

I thought Ford's Jack Ryan seemed to be a bit 'nervous' as compared to
Baldwin's, at least in Clear and Present Danger he was.
I think Baldwin should've done all three movies.

needs a winner because Heavens Prisoners is not doing good at the Box

The character in the book is the "reluctant hero" type but is cool
under fire. Baldwin did a better job of portraying that.

Force 10 from Navaron was my fav' Harrison movie. I think it's because I
fell in love with him in that movie. I love the ending when they end up
on the wrong side of the bridge :-)
42nd Hanover St is my second fav' Harrison movie, I thought it was a super
love story with a super twist!
I remember seeing those moveis and telling all my friends about this guy
Harrison Ford who is very very HOT, and I remember them looking at me and
saying "who"
Then Star Wars came out - the rest is history!

| | Harrison Ford, IMO, is one of the best actors around. I can't say I
have seen a movie with him in it that he wasn't good. I have to say
that out of all the different roles he played I liked Han Solo the
best, but that could be because I am a Huge Star Wars fan.

Can't wait for "Devils Own"('96) and "Air Force One"('97).

I hear that Ford's costar in Devils Own (Brad Pitt) is upset that many
script changes have been made during the principle photography stage of
the film. Many changes requested by Ford himself. Pitt has been rumored
to have walked off the set a few times.
My gosh, Pitt is getting paid $8M for this film and he is acting like
a big baby. I know it's not $20M(Ford's salary) but it's enough for him
to start acting like a professional. If not, he'll never make it to
    Ford's level.

The film should be completed by August. It will be a winter release.

| | Well it is time to go back to school for me. It was fun while it lasted.
Thanks for putting up with me and my Caps-on.
I heard that Larry King has a small part in "Air Force One" (1997).
Harrison Ford recently hosted a benefit in honor of the
Dali-Lama(correct spelling?), along with his wife screenwriter Mellisa
    Mathison and Richard Gere.
Is it just me or is Ford way over due for some type of recognition from
    his peers?

| | Ford comes across as a pretty "regular" guy when he's in any type of
interview. I think it was a Babara Walters' interview where he was
describing living on his ranch in Wyoming/Idaho/? and having people
pull into the driveway to see if it's really him.

    my favorites:
Indiana Jones III with Sean Connery
    	Working Girl
    	Regarding Henry

Also liked him better as Jack Ryan than Alec Baldwin, even if I didn't
like what they did to the clancy stories.

He has a great "little boy trying to get his way" look that would
    certainly work on me!
