    	"Indiana Jones"-type stuff.

Allan helps Jessie find/rescue her father, while at the same
time tries to find a well-hidden diamond mine.

Not a bad movie, really. I can't say that I liked it as
much as I liked "Raiders of the Lost Ark", but the heroine
was much better looking in this 1.

This is the 2nd time this move was remade, altering only some
of the characters' names. Well, very probably some of the
plot also, but the plot summaries seem very similar.

| No accounting for tastes, I thought this was one of the worst movies
I've ever seen. The scene with them rolling around in the pot where
they were going to be boiled with the vegetables was a ringer for the
    "Killer Tomatoes" genre.

| I was thrilled to see that this was going to be on Sunday then
realized it wasn't the Stewart Granger/King Solomon's Mines.
I was very disappointed. No one has shown this version in
a few years and I was going to tape it. I guess I will have
    to wait some more.

| I found it amusing that Jessie's skirt kept getting shorter and shorter as they neared the mines. Granger's was much better, but I think the 1985 version was fun. | |||||

I thought this movie was awful, and it seems to get worse every time I
see it (it's been on T.V. a lot)

However, Sharon Stone certainly puts across a compelling argument to
    tune in :^)
