A classic, loaded with cheap props and fx. This gem I love so much
even had the ( very young in this ) deputy from the Dukes of Hazzard
as it's hero/tuff guy. The killer shrews were dogs with shag rug and
yarn tied, glued, stapled,( however they did it), to thier bodies.
The shrews also appear as stuffed deer heads with fangs, poked thru
    holes in a fence.

I consider myself a horror movie buff, able to stomach the worst
of gory effects and gruesome details, but Dead Alive must be honored
with my "Extreme Warning" label. For example, (more funny than gross) a
zombie's intestines and other guts were chasing the hero through a
house. And also, the hero defeats a horde of zombie's with a lawn

| | Went through about half the topics to see if this
type of category had already been created. Didn't
see it so....
I rented a movie last night that was totally
mindless, had some bad acting and worse dialogue
and yet.... I still enjoyed it and actually
watched parts of it twice. The movie in question
was "Aspen Extreme" and I rented it because of
a discussion on "Due South" in the tv conference.
I had seen a couple of movies with Paul Gross
(Cold Comfort is pretty good if anyone is interested
in others he has been in) and noticed this one
on the video shelf. It also starred Finola Hughes
and Peter Berg. I guess sometimes we (I) are just
in the mood for a *tres* light piece of fluff!
What movies have you watched and enjoyed (although
you wouldn't want to admit it)?
