| I cannot remember exactly, but I think it was about a police officer
who was involved in a case where an old yewish woman was shot in her
shop. The police officer is of yewish origin himself. During
his investigations he is involved more and more in yewish underground
activities. (The role is played very well by Joe Mantegna (sp)?)

He participates in an assault against the shop of a nazi. From now on
I do not remember very exactly, I think he is observed during that
action. At the end he is injured badly and I think he has to leave
the police department.
What I still know, I liked this movie. Maybe someone can explain
deeper.
