| | Very cool movie. The feminism jokes are remarkably knowing and
affectionate for an exploitation flick -- I first heard about the movie
from a friend who saw it in a packed house during a lesbian film
festival in Oregon. OK, the acting and the jokes are variable, but the
three female leads are all fine and the ending is surprisingly
    satisfying.

Several steps above the typical Troma-god-we're-so-cute-with-our-cult-
title boiled sock. In fact it's about as lively as _real_ AIP and New
World pictures were. If this and the recent "Guncrazy" had been hits,
I wouldn't be so close to giving up on the American film industry.

| | It _is_ a fun flick (with plenty of groaners, too) - but I'd have given
it big points for the "Avocado Jungle of Death" concept, no matter what
the rest of the film had been like. ;-)

Guacamole and margueritas, while optional, make a dandy accompaniment.

| | I caught this on USA Up All Night one time; the title was irresistible.
Surprisingly tolerable shlock; they took just the right attitude.

| | Is this movie available on video-cassette ? I haven't ever been able to
find it in any catalogs of film. I have looked under both "Cannibal..."
and "Piranha Women...." - it just doesn't seem to be listed.

    Cheers,
