	This one stars Anabella S. (the woman who played the mother
	in "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle"), Alan Alda, and some
	other characters I don't remember seeing before.

	I believe this movie had been given bad reviews by both
	the critics and in the previous version of this notefile ...

	... however I must of been in the right frame of mind for
	a pseudo-senseless, pseudo-predictable suspense film.
	Even though the films plot is overly dependent on too
	many coincidences, it seemed to play well (the characters
	themselves even mention coincidences).

	Also even though the back of the blockbuster box gave away
	the plot twist that occurs near the end, I forgot to read
	it, and can say I was caught off guard (probably because
	there wasn't any clues given, it's more like a random
	plot twist :-).

	As I said in the previous MOVIES incarnation, I and a friend laughed our heads off throughout, especially during the last "climactic" scene. Alan Alda was hilariously awful. -Rob

	I liked the movie (as a rental) I love Alan Alda but this was not a film for him at all! He really didn't act well at all. The Bad guy (can't remember his name even throu he was in Field of Dreams lastnight) and he was the main charter in "Goodfellas" I really like this actor. LKP

	I didn't realize that Ray Liotta was in Whispers in the Dark. I thought Jamey Sheridan was the male star. What part did Liotta play? I saw Whispers when it first came out; guess I'll have to rent it now. Catherine

	I don't know if Ray Liotta was in Whispers In The Dark, to be honest, because I haven't seen it. But, when .2 said the actor he was refering to was the main character in Goodfellas and had also been in Field of Dreams, I just assumed he meant Ray Liotta. Who is Jamey Sheridan? Was he in both Field of Dreams and Goodfellas???? Lorna

	Jamey Sheridan played some cop or detective or something on TV. I think the series lasted about..... <--- that long. Re: -.1 Yes, I think .2's confused. If Jamey Sheridan was in Goodfellas, I sure don't remember it. Catherine

	I picked this as one of the worst movies of '92. I know that one has to be willing to suspend belief in movies, but really...... The psychiatrist had to be the stupidest person I ever met, the denouement came out of nowhere... I also laughed through most of it.
