| | Sounds good.

    As far as I know it's a violent semi-documentary
    about skinheads in Melbourne, Australia.

Finally seen this at the weekend...

There's a bit of controversy surounding this filmin the UK. The
anti-Nazi league want it banned because they believe that it glorifies
Nazism/racism and some video libraries are refusing to stock it because
    of it's violence...

The film effectively follows a group of skinheads around Melbourne as
they go out to try and get rid of the 'gooks' (SE Asians) from their
neighbourhood. The plot is very thin, but then again, this type of
film isn't really meant to have a deep and meaningful. It's out to show
what the director believes to be happening amongst the Nazi groups
    today.

The violence really takesover from the very thin plot line. I disgree
with the anti-Nazi league here, and would say that the violence does
not glorify their "cause". This is probably the most disturbing
violence that I have seen on video (although I've yet to see Reservoir
Dogs). It's not an Arnie-ripping-limbs-off yarn, the violence is a lot
more realistic and that is more disurbing than cans of ketchup being
sprayed everywhere. If you think that this glorifies Nazism and makes
you shave your head and beat up ethnic minorities a) you're sick and b)
this film is not the reason. You would've done it anyway, you were only
looking for an excuse. This film is designed to shock people with what
Nazi leagues are doing, showing them for their sick selves (IMHO).

    *** out of ****

    Graham.

| | It's a movie about a gang of skins in Melbourne, Australia. It's mainly
about the leader Hando ( a right nastie piece of scum) and the
    desintergration of his gang.

It's a really good film - very violent and has a really good
    storyline/script. It's not a pro-Nazi film, but shows a faction in both
    a positive and negative light.

| | If nothing else, this film will make you think a little bit about what
goes on "behind the headlines" with some of these groups. We all read
newspaper stories about neo-nazi groups and hate crimes, but most of us
probably don't have much of an idea what really goes on with these
people. I don't know how accurate this film is in depicting "a day in
the life of a skinheads group", but it certainly made me consider that
it's a little more ugly than a bunch of guys sitting around listening
    to Hitleresque propaganda speeches ...
