The SQLNET.ORA sample file that comes with Sql Services 7.1 contains
the parameter SQL.CRYPTO_SEED.
I know of cases where the setting of this parameters caused me grief,
and as it is only important for SNS, can I do away with it safely? Are we
yet using SNS?
Thanks,
Regina

| 2200.1 | We can use SNS, but if you're not... | SQLSRV::MAVRIS | Sue Mavris - [email protected] | Mon May 12 1997 11:57 | 7 |
The sample ORA files we shipped were generated by NETMAN. The simpler files we usually run with do not contain the SQL.CRYPTO_SEED param - so you should be able to drop it. Yes - we do have the option of using SNS for encryption with SQL/Services. Sue | |||||
