| 2167.1 | We support 32-bit now, that note is very old ! | NOMAHS::SECRIST | Rdb WWS; [email protected] | Mon Mar 17 1997 09:53 | 10 |

    Note 684 is very old and we expressly have ODBC drivers and the
    client API support ( a DLL) for 32-bit applications using both
    Windows95 and Windows NT on X86 (or Alpha) using DECnet or TCP/IP.

    Is this what you mean by supporting 32-bit applications ?

|  |     Hi,

    this customer says that when he installed the SQL services using
    DECcampus, the system creates a directory called ODDC, but there he can
    only find 16 bits applications, not 32. Is this right, why should he do
    to obtain the 32 bits applications.

    Regards,

| 2167.3 | DECcampus isnt that a licencing agreement? | UKVMS3::RVIRR | High cost of ownership... | Tue Mar 18 1997 05:07 | 8 |
| | What version of SQL/Services is he installing? Some versions create a
SQLSRV$ODBC directory with the client drivers in them for down-loading.
However if its an old kit (5.1,6.0) then it'll have the old drivers.

Get the customer to down-load the latest drivers from
http://www.oracle.com/products/servers/rdb/html/odbc.html

Or the Rdb7 CD (or the DBApack cd).
