|  |     Has the amazon been checked by a Vet?? That really should be the first
    thing on the list of to-do's. We have a conure that "stinks" if he eats
    to many pastatio nuts! (smells like old socks). Other than that - I
    don't have a clue.

|  |     A smelly beak usually indicates that something is amiss:
    - infection in beak
    - illness
    - sour crop
    - digestion disturbance
    
    So indeed see a vet about this.

|  |     This smell turned out to be an odor the bird picks up from eating so
    many peppers...he loves the little red cherry type peppers that are
    in his food..he prefers those over all other items. We never noticed
    this smell on our cockatoo because she hates the peppers..she prefers
    the sunflower seeds over anything else.

    Have you ever accidently kissed your bird after eating those peppers? 
    I've made the mistake a couple of times and didn't realize it until my
    lips started burning!  I wonder why they love them so much?  My Nanday
    (Bandit) loves them too!
