658.0. "BONDED BIRD SITTER" by GENT::TINA () Wed Feb 05 1992 09:07
I have check the file for notes about 'bird sitters'. I found two
notes 182 and 197. Someone named Steve recommended a place named
    'Critter Camp'.

    Questions:
Is this place still in business? and does anyone have further
    recommendations about the business?

    and

I would prefer to have someone stay at my house to 'sit' as I
have a cat, rabbit, fish, a red lored amazon, and two 'tiels.
Does anyone know of a person who 'sits' with pets at the pet's house?
I would feel much better about this situation as
    - there would be no chance of contacting disease
    - there would be less stress than there would in a new environment
    - and i could have all the pets and my house sitted at once

in 'bird talk' the also talk about having a 'bonded' sitter.
is there any available around here?

I live in South Grafton, Massachusetts.
My node is AIRG::TINA. My DTN 296-5771.

I am willing to pay a reasonable rate for such services.

    Thanks for any information. t

Call your local high school and ask if they have any
young people such as a 4-H club that might provide
    	such a pet-sitter service.

Another place to check might be the local church - and
the local Boy Scout Troop ...

Trick is to find some youngster who is _reliable_ in your area!
