This may sound strange - but I have a question about our Blue Crowned
Conure. He smells like old socks! He bathes fairly regular and this
smell comes and goes within a matter of minutes. We think he is around
4 years old and we haven't changed his food (although we are not
ruling out anything.) I would appreciate ANY instite - or anything we
can do. 'Cause when he smells - WHEW - He really smells!

    		Thanks in advance ---

Chewy too (red lored amazon). my opinion is that big birds smell
    like sneakers or dirty socks.
now that it is winter, i try to bathe chewy once a week to keep the
smell down. i spritz him once or twice (not too much cause i don't
want him to catch a cold) just about every day in the winter because
it's so dry as well -- it seems to help both with that distinct smell
    and with his dandruff.
