Has anyone seen this illness/problem:
We have a cockatiel that started shaking/kicking one leg, then the other
It seemed that possibly they were tingling. Also noted was a frantic
preening of the lower body and upper tail. She exhibited the symptoms
one evening. The next morning the symptoms were gone. We took her to
the bird vet, who had seen the behavior before and said it was not
serious and would go away. He did not have a medical/clinical name for
it. Does anyone here know anything about this???

One of my lovebirds had an episode with the leg action much as
you mentioned. I took the bird to the vet and no problem was
found. It only happened that one time.
