Does anyone out there - in the southern NH/MA area own a nebulizer that they would be willing to lend/rent? I have a Red-Lored Amazon that has a respiratory problem. Working with Dr. Kilgore at Littleton Animal Hsp., I've tried oral antibiotic, which has helped some , but not a cure ... There's a article in this month's Bird Talk that covers the illness of a African Gray. A nebulizer was used with success. Any experiences, comments from other noters? Thanks, Dave

Dave, I've heard these can be rented from hospital/medical supply
houses for a reasonable fee. The medication you need to use costs
a lot. Dr. Kilgore can give you the details. It means using a
hypodermic needle to puncture the capsule of medicine, which has
a very short shelf life. Meds, through prescription from a vet,
can be gotten at CVS and many other pharmacies, usually the same
day or very quickly. Good luck.........call me if you want to
talk more about this 603-595-9429. /Linda
