    	Well my hoodini bird gave us all a heat attack this weekend.
    	I told my husband to take out the carpet runner and wash it
    	(we put carpet runner under the bird cage) and also to take
    	Reggie outside for a bit and put the sprinkler on for him.
    	so he did.  Then he had to leave for a bit and he told me to
    	make sure I watch the bird! and he stressed that poitn until
    	no end.  Well needless to say I put in my soap tape and started
    	to watch it..I mean the bird cage has 2 padlocks on the door
    	why would I have to watch him..
    
    	Well 10 minuts after my Husband left, I heard a noise..it was
    	Reggie, on the outside of the kitchen windo trying to get in
    	He picked it locks..and got out!  I went nuts! all I could	
    	think about was my Husband and that voice! So I ran  out side
    	and REggie was gone..I screemed for my neighbor and he came
    	running..I told him what happend and he told me he heard a
    	noies..we followed the noise to a tree..and up in the tree is
    	Reggie..so needles to say, I truged throught the thors, Poisin
    	ivy to climb the tree to save Regge and myself from my Husband.
    	
    	Reggie breathed VERY heavy for a long time, and he was very
    	scared, but he is fine now, and so am I!  Next time I'l told
    	to watch the birddie...I will

     Our yellow nape Samantha, will say "watch the birdie and do a stuipd
    birdie trick, or when she is on the porch and a bird goes flying
    by her.
      But She can't pick locks thank-God.
    
    Glad to hear that you and Reggie are safe and sound!
    
    P.S. Did you tell your husband or have any intentions of telling
    him for future knowledge??

    I told him, he did'nt have much to say, he just shook his head
    and could'nt believe I was that dumb..he was'nt mad, but he 
    would of been..
