The Multia Service Information handbook (EK-MULTS-IN.C01) carefully lists the jumpers responsible for speed selection. While there is a complete table for the Alpha-based Multias (up to 300 MHz), the Intel related information just mentions: W2 off Host bus frequency W4 on Host clock speed select W5 off Host clock speed select W7 1 to 2 ISA clock speed select These settings are apparently correct for the 100 MHz CPU. Does anybody know about other valid settings ? Thanks for your help, Hans.

         W5 (Host Bus Speed)               OFF 	   50 MHz (ON,ON), 
                                                   60 Mhz (OFF,ON) 
    						   66 MHz (ON,OFF). 
    
         W6 (CMOS Mode)                    OFF 	Use to clear the RTC CMOS.
    						OFF = normal mode, 
    						ON = clear RTC CMOS.
    
         W7 (ISA Clock Speed)              ON 3-to-2   Sets the ISA Bus frequency.
    					   ON 1-to-2 = ISA frequency
    						       is 1/4 PCI frequency.  
    					   ON 3-to-2 = ISA frequency
    						       is 1/3 PCI frequency.
    
         W8 (Bios Boot Block               ON 3-to-2   Ability to program Flash
             Programming Mode)			       Boot Block area. 
       					   ON 3-to-2 = normal mode (unable to 
    						       overwrite boot block).

|     Could someone clarify please....which motherboard jumpers should be set
    if the CPU on an Intel Multia is upgraded from 100 Mhz to 133 Mhz ? 
    Previous replies suggest W4 on and W5 off.  Is this correct ?  What
    about W2 ?
