I participated in a New England Region SCCA Solo II event
this past Sunday. For anyone looking for a way to compete
without the worry of other people crashing into you, this is
the event. The race course is laid out with traffic cones in
a large parking lot, and the goal of each participant is to drive
the field as quickly as possible without hitting any cones or
running off the course. It sounds simple, but it requires a great
deal of concentration to traverse the course quickly.
A very enjoyable way to spend a day.

Hi Rich,
I guess I should have titled the 1996 NER/NEDIV as 1996 NER SCCA to
match the other years. Glad you enjoyed it. If you're interested in
seeing what goes on with road racing, this weekend at Loudon we have
our National weekend Saturday and Sunday.
