    Need suggestions for Swedish baby boy names to go with
    a last name of Petterson.
    
    My friend is due in Sept. and knows she's having
    a boy.  They have a son named Karl and a daughter
    named Linnea.

	Well, I've never been to Sweden, but I knew some Swedish soccer players in college whose names were: T�r Claes (pronounced kloss) Hans Lars Eric I think they all sound fine with Petterson, but maybe Lars doesn't match as well with Karl. I guess my favorites of these are T�r and Eric. There's also a great book called "The melting pot book of baby names" that is organized by nationality and might have some more choices. I believe I posted the info. somewhere in this file, but if you can't find it, send me mail for the author, etc. Good luck to your friend in choosing a name, -Cori

	My swedish relatives male names are: Sven Carl Olaf Christian Ebon which is also swedish (I go by Bonnie)

	I have two cousins who's last name is Peterson and their names are: Jay Lars Peterson and Peter Eric Peterson (Don't ask me where the "Jay" came from. We've always called him Lars)

	Hi, Eric is not a Swedish name at all. It's origin is Scandiavian, Teutonic (Germanic), and Old Norse. (my son's name is Eric Joseph) Meaning: Ever-Ruler It does sound good with Peterson though, and is a GREAT STRONG name, but if they really want to go SWEDISH then it's not the one! Good Luck !
