know it's origin?  Correct pronounciation and/or variations and meanings?

    Hi Karen,
    
    There is a cop in Townsend, who is also a friend of a friend of mine
    and his name is Tad, but I think it is just spelt Tad.  Is that how
    Tadgh is pronounced?
