I am having difficulty agreeing on a girl's name for our September Baby
to Be. My husband is partial to english names. Believe it or not, he
actually loves Prudence but I just can't do it. He also likes Jacklyn
but I don't. I would like to go with an italian name, seeing how I had
to give up my unique maiden name and settle for something so plain as
to Walter. I also believe that because of the simple last name that
something unique and long would be ideal. He also likes Abagail but I
think its too common. I liked Samantha Jeanne but he says, "It reminds
me of a dog; every dog is named Sam!" (don't take it personally, I
didn't. Course we did have a dog Samantha too!) Anyways... I love
Demerice, Dominque, Gabriela and Andrea but alas.. he is saying no
to everything I come up with!
We have pretty much decided that the boy names are Anthony Paul or Paul
Joseph (PJ) but you never know.
Any ideas?

cj, First of all, congratulations! Next, here are some options for you - the good thing about a "simple" last name is that lots of names sound good with it! Italian: English: Alessandra Alexis Marina Allegra Allison Miranda Bianca Amelia Madeline Caterina Anabel Marjorie Emilia Antonia Meredith Francesca Audrey Phoebe Giovanna Cecilia Roxanne Isabella Claudia Sylvia Olivia Danielle Tamara Regina Hannah Vanessa Sabrina Hilary Victoria Tonia Jocelyn Lindsay Lydia I also like Abigail and Gabriella (and Samantha), but not too fond of Prudence.
