858.0. "Girls names to go with Vincent" by BRAT::VINCENT () Tue Feb 09 1993 13:26

    We are expecting our second in May and although we have two names
    picked out, I am starting to wonder if I really like the one we have
    selected for a girl.  Anybody have any ideas on different girls names 
    that would go with the last name Vincent, and would also sound good with 
    Dale as a middle name.
    
    Right now we have Jordan Dale (girls) and Tyler James (boy).  My
    husbands name is James Dale - hence the middle names.  Our first, Katlyn
    has the middle name Joy after my side of the family (first daugher
    born).
    
    
    
    PS:  Katlyn makes a face everytime we talk about the name Jordan - she
    says "I don't like that name....thats yucky"

	I forgot....is there a file in here somewhere that has a large listing of babynames. I think I remember one, when I was pregnant and looking for a name for Katlyn. I started to look through -- but figured it was hopeless there are some many files and I had no idea what I should try to do a DIR/TITLE on. Robin

	Robin, I meant to list these in my previous reply, but was rushed so forgot... Anyway, I agree that Tyler James Vincent sounds good, but Jordan has never been one of my favorites (for boy or girl) - maybe because it seems "trendy" to me... However, you have to go with what YOU like (provided Katlyn approves, of course!). By the way, I prefer a more feminine-sounding first name with the more unisex middle name of Dale -- just MHO. Here are some more options that I think sound good with Dale Vincent: Melanie Tanya Shannon Alicia Karla Karley Justine Megan Stepanie Natalie Good luck! -Cori

	Hi, I know you probably have a name picked out already since there were so many names put in here....I had my 2 year old son Derek (at the time) name our daughter. I was expecting a boy! Oh, were we surprised..!!!! He liked Ariel ( the little mermaid) and we put our heads together for her middle name. ARIEL ROSE VINCENT sounds pretty good..... 	My husband really has his heart/mind set on Jordan Dale. And you know everytime I hear any other name I just don't like it. Soooo I guess we are going with Jordan and Tyler. Robin
