    My cousin is 4-5 months along and they are looking for a boys name.
    Their last name is Babineau.  They have a girls name already picked
    out, Kara Lorraine.
    
    They're thinking of Derek for a boy but are not crazy about it. Any
    other suggestions I could give to her??

	I guess my first question is what about Derek are they not happy with? If they are looking for a name that sounds like Derek, how about: Darryl Darren David Damon Damian Donald Have they picked a middle name? The girl's middle name, Lorraine, sounds like it could be a family/friend's name. Chris

	My cousin's husband, Owen, loves the name Derek but my cousin, Lisa, is starting to get used to it. Her MIL tends to add "ie" on to names and she's not sure how's she'd feel about "Derrie". Lorraine is her mothers name.

	I just got an update from Lisa. The middle name is set at Simon (Owen's fathers name). Lisa is now leaning towards Matthew but her husband still likes Derek... how about some more suggestions??
