| | I also like your names. I am having a hard time deciding if I like
Morgan Leigh or Morgan Marie better. Morgan Marie is kind of a mouth-
full, and Morgan Leigh flows more easily. So I guess I'd have to say
Morgan Leigh. I do like the idea of pairing a feminine middle name
with Morgan which is more unisex.

    Best of luck to all.

| | We have a second choice for a girl....

    Talisa Marie

    How does that sound ?

    No doubt we will change our minds numerous times before the birth;
we've quite a long way to go yet !

I have my first ultrasound in 4 weeks and I want to know the sex if
    they can tell me.

Morgan Leigh still gets my vote. I've never been to keen on "original"
names (i.e. those I've never heard of before); but Talisa is pretty
sounding. I have heard Talia before (as in Talia Shire?) and I like
    that too.

| | I think there's an (oriental) model called Talisa Soto, or something
like that ! I probably got it completely wrong, but I fell in love with
    the name anyway!

| | Well, I knew it would happen - I'm having second thoughts !

I was reading a parenting magazine last night, and it had an article in
it listing the most popular 6 names in the UK. Daniel is #1 at the
moment, and our second choice, Christopher, is #4.

It may sound silly, but I don't really want our son (if that is what it
will be !) to have the same name as umpteen other boys in his class
when he gets to school. We are seriously back to the drawing board on
    this one now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for us? I tend towards either the
Welsh or the Biblical, my SO seems to like a mixture of
    Biblical/unusual.

If only I knew I was going to have a girl, there would be no problem!

    Thanks

    Angela

| 720.8 | The Final choice !!! | DUCK::SEYMOURA | Be Excellent to Each Other | Thu Jan 02 1992 11:09 | 13 |
| | Hi, basenoter here again !

We have made our final selections at last !

We are definitely sticking with Morgan Leigh Seymour for a girl, but
have now decided on Zachary Lester Seymour for a boy. Zachary we just
liked, and it is still fairly unusual here in the UK, Lester after my
    husband.

What a relief to finally choose names ! One less thing to worry
    about....

    Angela.
