    How about:
    	Rebecca Dyan (Diane)
    	Rebecca Irene
    	Rebecca Leigh (Lee)
    	Rebecca Marie
    	Rebecca Faye

I'm sure just about anything will go with Rebecca. It is a beautiful
name and Osborne is easy to work with.

    Congratulations and God bless!

| | I also think Rebecca is a good match with Osborne. Since it is a
long first name, I think the middle name should be 1 or 2 sylables:

    Rebecca Paige
    Rebecca Rose
    Rebecca Jill
    Rebecca Anne

Also like .1's Rebecca Marie and Rebecca Irene.

For boys names, I like your husband's middle name, Ward.

    Ward Everett Osborne
    Ward Robert Osborne

    Otherwise:

    Tate Douglas Osborne
    Clifford Douglas Osborne
    Reece Ward Osborne
    Rhett Edward Osborne
    Daniel Ward Osborne

    Congratulations and good luck!

| 708.3 | Rebecca Jane?  Cody Michael? | TIPTOE::STOLICNY |  | Mon Jul 15 1991 09:21 | 17 |

I also think Rebecca sounds great with Osborne. My suggestion for
a middle name would be a variation of Mom's: Rebecca Jane Osborne.

Jesse is a neat name for a boy. It'll be tough to come up with
some that "matches" it if you have another boy. Three names that
come to mind are Luke, Cody, and Shane.

    Luke Douglas Osborne
    Cody Michael Osborne
    Shane Douglas Osborne

Osborne is an easy name to work with, maybe that's why you have
trouble deciding - everything goes with it!

| 708.5 | Max needs your help! | SWAM2::OSBORNE_JA |  | Tue Dec 03 1991 14:23 | 17 |
| | Help! Baby's here, but he has no name! (I was afraid this would
    happen!)

We have been calling him Max, and I think we will keep it (tho
our parents hate it, and are pushing for us to at least lengthen
it to Maxwell if we won't change it). He just looks like a Max.
He doesn't look like any of the names we had considered before
    his birth.

Can you help me with a middle name for Max Osborne? I like the
sound of Max Addison Osborne, but I think we want a more
traditional middle name (along the lines of Thomas, as in Jesse
    Thomas Osborne, Max's big brother).

    Thanks,

    Janet.

First, congratulations on the birth of Max Osborne!

    How about?:

    Max Andrew Osborne
    Max Joseph Osborne
    Max Charles Osborne
    Max David Osborne

I like them all! Maxwel seems a little bit easier to find a middle
    name for though.

Good luck and let us know what you finally decide!

| | We haven't ruled out Maxwell, and I'd be interested in hearing
your ideas for a middle name to go with it.

| | Janet & family,

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!!

Here's some names that I like with Maxwell:

    Maxwell Tate Osborne
    Maxwell Oliver Osborne
    Maxwell Foster Osborne
    Maxwell Lawrence Osborne
    Maxwell Thaddeus Osborne

For Max on it's own, some of the following came to mind:

    Max Alecsander Osborne
    Max Sampson Osborne
    Max Greyson Osborne
    Max Isaiah Osborne

    Just a few ideas....

| 708.9 | Max Timothy/Max Michael ??? | 4EVER::MEHRING |  | Wed Dec 04 1991 10:55 | 20 |
| | Congratulations!!
Here are a few ideas (I prefer the longer middle names with Max...):
	Max Timothy Osborne
	Max Gregory Osborne
	Max/Maxwell Joseph Osborne
	Max/Maxwell Stephen Osborne
Max Michael Osborne (this sounds cool to me!)
	Max/Maxwell Robert Osborne
	Maxwell Charles Osborne
	Maxwell Alan Osborne
Are there any good family names you can work with for the middle name? That
can sometimes compensate for the grandparents' not being too fond of the first
name... But once they get to know the little one, they will love whatever
name you've chosen!!
Good luck!
-Cori

I also like Max Alexander mentioned earlier (I prefer the
traditional spelling). I don't know that I have any different
ideas of names to go with Maxwel but they just seem to
flow a bit better using Maxwel.

My favorites are: Maxwel Joseph Osborne
    	              Maxwel John Oborne
    		      Maxwel David Osborne

Congratulations!!! I too like Maxwell better. Have you considered using
one of the grandfathers names as a middle name? As for myself I like

    Maxwell James Osborne

| | Thank you all for your suggestions. We have named our son
Max Michael Osborne. Special thanks to you, Cori, for the
    suggestion in .9.
