      It seems like a note for birth announcements is justified. Many
    of us have used this conference to help decide on babynames, but
    there isn't one general topic to announce the birth and let everyone
    in here know the final name selection.
      This topic may help in keeping the overall number of topics down
    to a more manageable number since a single birth announcement really
    shouldn't be its own topic.
      Since I'm a recent new father, I'll start.

	Lisa Michelle Barry Born on April 15th, 1991 weighing in at 9 lbs, 2 oz. and 21" long. At 6 week checkup, she was 24" long, and 11.2oz. She's gonna be tall like her mum.

	Announcing: JACOB MICHAEL ORTH born 31 May, 1991 and weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz., and 19 3/4 inches long. He is joyfully greeted by borhters Joshua and Daniel and sister Carrie. For those who helped in topic 614...thank you, although we obviously didn't choose any of the names that we mentioned! But we are happy with what we ended up choosing. Mom and baby are healthy and fine! Dad is proud! --dave--

	-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birth Announcement for Michael Paul Koczwara, Born Tuesday, May 14, 1991 8 ibs 4 oz 21 inches. Almost left this world on Monday, May 20th thru Thursday the 22nd due to a bactrical infection in his body from a problem with the tube that contacts the kidney and bladder. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Boston Children's Hospital Newborn ICU he pulled through and finally came home on June 2nd. He's doing GREAT! Healthy, happy and cute as a button. Mom's still recovering from the ordeal. Back to work as of today! Pat K.
