| | Jill can be the long form of Jillian/Gillian, but if you want to, you
can use just Jill. I used to have a friend named just Jill. (I rather
    like just Jill.)

    Middle names for Jill:

    Jill Marie
    Jill Suzanne
Jill Janine (at the risk of being nicknamed J.J.)

In other words...the best middle names to put in the middle of
Jill...Fleming would be a 2 syllable name with the accent on the second
part. Of course, this is only a suggestion... ;^)

| | I suppose that Jill could be a nickname for Jillian. I've never
heard it as a nickname or shortened version of Julia - that's strange.
My sister-in-law's name is, plain and simple, Jill. So, I don't
think you need a long version, per se. However, it does seem difficult
to find a middle name for Jill and easier to find one for Jillian.

    Some suggestions might be:
    Jillian Rae Fleming
    Jillian Beth
    Jillian Christine
    Jill Alexandra
    Jill Courtney
    Jill Marie

    (Jillian Rae is my favorite)

    good luck,

    cj/

| | I like Jill Marie. I think it's a very pretty, feminine name.

| | I like Jillian. Jill and Jilli could be the shorter version. That way
as she grows up, she can have the versatility of using which she
prefers most for a particular situation. Sometimes I go by Tina and
other times I prefer my full name which is Christina. My family calls me
    both.

My friends daughter is Jillian Rose. She is called Jillian, Jill,
Jilli and sometimes even "Jillybean"!!! by her brother!
She loves all of them and depending on her mood,, she let's you know
what she wants to be called that day.

| | I like Jillian too, for the same reasons as note .4.

Some that I think sound good

    Jillian Marie Fleming (my favorite)
Jill Parker Fleming (I know someone named Jill Parker Stevenson)
Jillian Lee (may be too many l's)

    Good Luck!

| | My mother's name is Jill Ilene....
If you are going with just the name Jill you may want to think about a
middle name that begins with a vowel instead of a middle name beginning
    with a consonant....
Vowels to begin names that follow names ending in L tend to flow better
    when speaking them.

    Just a thought...

But all are related. If you like Jill, use it as is ... no need to
use the long form these days!

I like Jillian, but also like Jill. How about using your name as
    a middle name... Jill Anne?

- My name is Jill Renee' and I've always loved it. Sounds close to Jillian Rae,
if you like that name but would rather have (just?) Jill.

Only 9 weeks to go! Thanks for all your responses. I think we have it

I like the sound of it, but the initials will spell JEF
(jeff). Not a big deal to me but... just thought I'd
    	mention it.

    	/Kim ...who likes Samantha more anyway. (;
